CONDUCTANCE OF THE ELLIPTICALLY SHAPED QUANTUM WIRE

The conductance of a ballistic elliptically shaped quantum wire is investigated theoretically. It is shown that the effect of the curvature results in a strongly oscillating dependence of the conductance on the applied bias.
